To exemplify the contrast in today's battle of emotions and being human with the impersonal commercial/industrial life we are living- I have tried to break down the man into a geometrical shape, using bold dark lines and colors inspired by the commercial prints where lines and shadows are overstressed while the look, pose and shape tries to break out its human character. The moon has been placed behind to add to the natural side that is there in the background, beneath all this "modern life". Also his shoulders are sloped pointing towards his eye, to draw attention to his look. Basically a man used to his loneliness in this world and looking out at the viewer, not for their pity, but mere understanding and reconfirmation of what we all feel sometimes.
