Place de la Madeleine

Paris in July. The Parisiens are preparing for their VACANCES, but tourists from all over the world are coming to visit the city which in my eyes is the most beautiful in the world. People are having coffee outside Fauchon, the shrine to fine food, and in the background, the Madeleine chuch or 'L'église de St-Marie-Madeleine'. The photo was taken on July 26, 2007.
