This is unique:
a rose that unifies people.
Another teamwork between 3 artists of
AW:
an international collaboration from
across the borders.
CYNTHIA ADAMS - our
well known self taught artist and photographer
on AW- was very enthusiastic when I asked
for her permission to paint her beautiful
photograph
"Fire down below!!"

I changed her photograph into an
impressionistic rose; while painting it grew on
me to be more and more mine...
Once more I sent
Hassan Pasha -our well
known AW digital artist- my finished painting
and asked him if he felt like writing some
poetry accompanying this small painting yet
again.
He just went through some emotional turmoil
himself, while writing this moving master
piece:

I don't know what to do and I don't know
what to say
Standing at an abandoned path
Not knowing what is headed my way
This is now and that was then
Times have changed
Wondered why and when
A devil with horns by hours of darkness
This is what they say
A mere rose nestled among thorns
This is what I am through out the day
Many came, stayed and went
Some took the time to inhale my scent
My petals wrapped around me,
They hide me from the humankind
to see my soul, it's these petals you
unwind
I am looked at from a distance from night till
morn
To the world, I am only a rose nestled among
thorns
