Well... I think I can proudly say this is my first digital attempt at real serious digital painting type things. I used CS2 and my own brushes and stuff.. It took forever but I really like her. Painting underwater scenery is difficult.. the lighting is omniscient while at the same time its not.. and I sacrificed technical details for fashionable details.. and studied a lot of underwater life! If you know anything about me you know I love the ocean and fishies and stuff like that. The mermaid is a sort of cyberpunk representation of a hamme r head shark.
