Faith

When there is nothing else to hold unto there is faith. Faith is trusting in something or someone when all else seems lost. It is in this hope that faith brings that the knowledge that all is well deep down in the depths of our being. Even if our surface is disturbed. If one has faith no explanation is needed, it is already provided for. "Seek, and ye shall find". Therefore as one cannot explain ice to the dragonfly nor the ocean to a frog in a well those who believe just know that to worry is to be unfaithful. Those who have faith know that they really possess nothing and therefore have everthing. To worry is to lose faith and to lose faith is to lose oneself. I hope that I will always trust in that Breath that gave me life. And I trust that I will always know that all is well deep in the depths of my being because I am not called to be successful but to be faithful. visionary imagist "Joey"

Wonderful sense of humor. Yes you are a true visionary.

Artist Reply: Kathy: My monk friends have said that I have a way of seeing. I'm not sure if I am truly a visionary but I did like my monastic friends calling me that. It just kinda' stuck. A man could be called worse I guess. Again thanks!!!

This is so wonderful!! Being one who has that faith myself your words mean so much to me. Your image speaks to my heart...knowing that calm serene feeling deep in my soul that all will be well, no matter how things appear.

Artist Reply: Laurie: I started to sketch and paint this at a monastery that I go to every so often, to get away, so to speak. I find the language of God is silence. So I do at times find myself seeking silence and quiet. Again thank you for your kindness

Wonderful art! I love this one!

Artist Reply: Merle: I actually began this painting at a monastery. Maybe it's influence allowed me to see not only what was there but what was not there too. Thank you for your words!!
