This dolphin portrait was taken while at Seaworld on the Goldcoast, Queensland, Australia in May 2007. Taking this close-up portrait was not as easy as it looks - the dolphins were jumping out of the water all over the arena & I didn't know where they were going to jump out from! I love Dolphins - they are so intelligent. Taken with the Canon EOS 400D; Sigma 50-500mm lens.

Stunning! This is an amazing shot... When I first saw this, I thought, "Umm... Nice piece of sculpture..." It took me a moment to realise that they were real!
