I feel fortunate to meet the real fairy godmother. She definitely sparkles with magical color. I don't know if she met our gypsy resident who is fictional, but also has magical powers. This woman shines with the light of many wise years of scaring the boggy men and goblins. I am so pleased to meet her.

Artist Reply: Hello L, Thank you very kindly for your words, they are a precious gift. I love all your phtos very much, they are always expertly taken and comprised. This costume cost me lots of money, (for me anyway it was lots) I was hoping my Mom enjoyed herself that afternoon at the Dance for Seniors. She was the best dressed there. She even had purple crushed velevet long glovwes and the hat had a lovely shinny purple rose with feathers in it. The dress like that from the 16th century, all velvet too. She liked that purple star with the little rose and lace on it, Her wand. She looked like she belonged on a movie set. I am glad that you liked this shot. I guess, she was happy that day.
