you have created a wonderful work in pastel. there is a sense of motion with your treatment of the water and the gondolas. the cool foreground colors and a warm background give the piece an intriguing atmosphere that pulls the viewer into the painting. Great work!

I have a wee comment, your selling your work way too cheap. OK its only my opinion but; your work is stunning. Anyone out there who wants to buy your work should buy it asap; before the price catches up with the qaulity.

Very flowing almost organic feel to this piece. The boats are almost like hybrid orchids, they are so sumptuous. This reminds me in some ways of Van Gogh, with variations that are wholly yours, Hugo.
