20 in. by 30 in. abstract acrylic figure painting on shellacked watercolor paper. This was created as my wedding portrait. Our wedding was unconventional and I created the painting in the same way. This abstract was made to be turned and looked at from many different angles. (I realize that's a little hard online though) This was shown at the Galapagos Art Space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY in June 2007. This painting also won the June 2007 Nude-themed Art showdown on www.asingularcreation.com. www.nancysoulliard.com copyright Nancy Soulliard

I saw this posted on a thread for 'favorite artists', (I think that was the title). I was so taken I had to come and see your portfolio for a clower look and info on how this was created. I have never seen anything quite like it and wanted to compliment you on your unique style and approach. The color choices are wonderful---and your perspecitives here---oh my. Just a wonderful overall composition. Shelacked watercolor paper, eh? What is used to do that? (sorry to be so uninformed--but I've never heard of this technique). I'd love to know--send me an email if you get the chance. Hope your day goes great! -Kerratammy bradshaw 02 Mar 2007
