really looks like its real.....i m so impressed...did u get that from a picture.

Artist Reply: Hi, Gagan! Thanks for the feedback on this piece. Yes, this was based on a photograph of a now retired 'special forces' guy. I'm not a 'photorealist' by any means, but the essence of the moment was what I was going after. A few arrangements to make the subject the main focus, (the shooter) and some different color hues seemed to 'do the trick' so to speak. This piece of off to it's new home. I believe we can't do enough to honor those who keep us safe. :) -Kerra

This should be "on loan" to Ft. Bragg for their museum; the attention to details is spectacular! We are so proud of our military and their families...a true "view" of their individual assignments....thank you for sharing their honor with all of us!!!!!

Splendid watercolor, Kerra! Perfect technique!

Artist Reply: Hey, Alberto! Thanks so much for taking the time to review this piece. I have to tell you it didn't feel anywhere near 'perfect' while working this out. Tons of thumbnail sketches came first--not to mention endless wash mixes to get the colors I wanted. Hope your day goes great! -Kerra

Kerra, magnificent image and such finite detail. Great image and stunning for what it represents. Excellent work. Miguel

Artist Reply: Miguel! :) Hey, there! Thanks so much for taking the time to review this piece. I've spent so much time on 'studio stuff' , (the marketing end), I've fallen behind in my responses--sorry. This was quite a piece to work out as I felt the subject matter was so important it couldn't turn out poorly. Hope everything is going great for you. Thanks again. :) -Kerra
