Bornean Forest Dragon
(Gonocephalus doriae doriae)
The genus Gonocephalus includes some of the most spectacular lizards in the world. The breeding coloration on mature males is striking. The Bornean Forest Dragon is native to rainforests of Kalimantan, Borneo. If feeds on insects and is adept at climbing. Adults average about 10 inches long.
Wildlife artist Kathie Miller has taken ordinary fabric and turned this reptile into a piece of art.
