Nurse Fairy

An original folk art design by artist Amy Jordan. I am a Cardiac RN by trade, and it just seemed inevitable that I create this cutie in honor of my hard-working colleagues. I've made it into several products on Zazzle - check them out! Its also available on ebay under my ID: folkartblonde. Enjoy! All rights reserved.

Nurse Amy, I must send an ecard of this to my daughter who is a Peds NP and who liked my photos of a fairy statue...something in common; this is delightful !!! my photography has become therapy too!

Artist Reply: Dear Brenda, if you do send that e-card... please let me know what your daughter says about my nurse fairy. I'm always interested in what other nurses think about her - good or bad. So far, its been all good. Yay! I'm thinking of developing a line of greeting cards that encompasses all races, nationalities, specialties, hair and nail colors! But... my trademark is red shoes/heels for my faeries.... so my colleagues are out of luck if they're wanting to have a conservative image...lol THANKS for your comments!

Amy. You have an amazing talent. I love you whimsical creativity and your wonderful choice of colors. The red shoes are fabulous. This nurse fairy is needed in our home given all the paranormal events that have been happening lately with Florence, Mollys new "grandwitch." Also you are the first to know that Florence, the 50 foot woman who attacked one of my villages last Christmas brought her mother to town and she is an 85 foot witch. We need HELP!! I wish she was lifesize. Molly can get rough with Lillian who is aging and does not have the energy for all her puppy antics. GREAT WORK!!

Artist Reply: Julie, thank you dearly for your such kind comments about my faerie. You've just made my night with your positivity and sense of humor....lol

Artist Reply: This piece has been very popular with a lot of nurses... I'm proud (and trying hard not to brag!!) to say. Thank you for your wonderful comments. Your work is so fantastic that it really means something to me coming from you. :)
