This is a very powerful image. It has a bit of the folk art quality of much Mexican art. Our Lady of Guadelupe and the Sacred Heart are wonderful, universal symbols.

Artist Reply: I fell in love with Our Lady when I lived in New Mexico. She's everywhere out there! I had to paint this one, but I am planning a full-size version for later this year. I feel blessed when I paint her... Thanks for the kind comments!
