Reclining in Paint

Had this up for a year, then told, after I had cropped it and resubmitted it, that it was in violation...a year later. So, here she is with the eye soar black cover-up.

Mysterious are the ways of the AW censors, indeed. most of my own works contain "forbidden" nudity, so you can easily imagine my frustration. But I prefer not to upload them entirely, rather than having them spoiled this way. It's a real shame to see such a beautiful piece of art with this sort of expurgation.

Artist Reply: Thanks for commenting. Ya, it is hilarious, this is teh second time I have provided a re-submitted, cropped version. The first one was the one they had up for over a year just to come back to tell me it was still in violation. What happens is someone new takes over as judge and jury and is offended in someway and says the painting is in violation when, teh person before thought it was fine. No consistancy at all. I'm sure a year later, they'll come again and pull it down because my black box over the TOP part of her butt, is too transparent. You have to laugh....to keep from crying!!!!!

there is soooo nothing wrong with this. Jeez, next thing ya know, not even the human back will be allowable. Only the shoulders and waist, some areas of the legs, feet, arms and toes. Next thing ya know we will be burning books in the streets.
