Silki My Gorgeous Kitty

Silk my kitty,is about 2.5 years. He's the most gorgeous and very loving kitty to me...He is part of my soul,i love him so much...but lately...each night,I'm having problems with him - because he does not manage well with my other cat,Sirena...she's over 14 years old...and so each night almost,i must get out of my bed to solve their problems,as if i'm having babies :-))(...Israelis babies i mean those who get up at nights :-)...Both of them are gelded.I'm awoken from 4 :00 a.m this morning....I know so many of you are Cat's lovers..Does someone has a suggestion for me ?...Copyrights (c)Nira Dabush

Beautiful photo of Silk. I'll bet she looks you right in the eyes when you speak to her and I do believe that she understands. Most orange and white cats do this. I wish I had an answer for you to help them enjoy each others company.

Artist Reply: Dear Vivian..thanks for such wonderful comments.Yes..Silki,who is a he...definitely understand me so well...and i used to have another cat once..she also was very clever and really understood me...Thanks god :-)..since i post this,my nights are much better...and..almost every night, before i go to sleep i really talk with silk, and ask him to be a good boy and to sleep,and...not to disturb Sirena in ANY WAY...He understands well...HAVE A GREAT CREATIVE DAY..HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU,FROM NIRA..

Hi Nira, I have three cats and two of them get along just great the newest one adopted our home and does not get along with my Sammy, so at night I seperate them. I keep the newest cat in my studio and the two other ones in my house......It works out just fine. My studio is connected to my house so he still feels he has a home. Hope that will help.

Artist Reply: Hi marion...it's a good idea,if i could find the right place for each of them...the problem,my Silk open doors,windows...Really...and they really choose for themselves. There was a time in my life, few years back...when Sirena controlled my bed room area, after we move a place..and she didn't give the other cat i used to have then to enter my bed room...all what i tried for years did not help...but then...my other cat started to sleep with my son..BUT,It was when she chose it.My silk is really very clever cat and i really talk with him...everyone around laugh..but...to my opinion he understand me well...some nights before i go to sleep...i have a little talk with him...sometimes it really help...or maybe its just a coincidence...Anyway thanks..and i'm soon really go to sleep, because i'm tired..ENJOY YOUR DAY,NIRA

Great portrait of your kitty, the shadow on it is beautiful. I have no idea how to keep them from fighting. Sometimes put yogurt on your finger and then on their whiskers and let them lick first your finger and then the face of the other. miguel

Artist Reply: Michael...to tell you something...for me its unbelievable..but they eat from the same plate at the same time and manage SUPER well,This is a magic...This young Silk educate Sirena..it wasn't like this before he came..because i used to have another cat before Silk...and then...Sirena was very much domineering ,dominant, she was very tough to my sumsum..and took most of their both food...i could not control it.About yogurt ...Sirena put her own hand ,like a spoon in the yogurt and then to her mouth. But they eat mostly "Felix" meat and dry food..
Artist Reply: Thank you so much!

What a Fantastic shot, superb lighting and everything. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe You have to separate them at night in different rooms if you can without trouble. Sometimes the older ones have trouble with the younger, it is a senority thing. You know. Maybe to take turns with one in your room one night and then alternate. Maybe the other to sleep or be in the boys rooms...door closed of course. Perhaps then they will not be so easy to get into trouble with each other if they can not roam the house so freely. Make a special place for them in the rooms of your choice with some things they love to comfort them. Just some suggestions, don't know if it will work or if you have tried this. I love yah girl, you need to rest and so do they. Both lovely creatures I am sure. I might be wrong, maybe someone else has a better idea. Great phto, very beautiful! Sister! I love cats so much and wish I could have them...but I am allergic. Once I had five cats and was always sick til I realized it and then I was heart broken. It is wonderful for you to love them, they are such beauties. I am allergic to Bandit too but not as bad.

Artist Reply: Hello dear sister Christine and thanks so much for such wonderful comments and advice.I can't seperate them at night..because they free to sleep where they sleep.......Sometimes,they change according to seasons and moods..but it is their own choice. These days...like in every winter...they both sleep with me..That means...Sirena under the blankets, very close to me..as if hugging me...and Silk on the blankets on my legs :-))..and now i really manage to make myself smile ;-)...but from time to time...at night...sometimes even twice a night, sirena goes out for the living-room to sleep at Yarin's armchair, until he gets up...:-))...in summer..only silk was sleeping with me,sirena chose to sleep alone,in the living - room...In the morning,as i wake up..Silk comes to sleep very tight to my face...its truly a gift to me..he's a treasure for me.Now...i love sirena too of - course..but she's really very strange cat..no one can go near her...even my kids...she simply afraid...very strange cat.I'm sorry for your allergy ,I know how very difficult it can be at times...me and Saar too are allergic...i know i'm not allergic to cats..because i had many tests...And...i'm sure Saar is not allergic to cats either...He's cough also right now and have fever actually...I'm glad that you manage Bandit and your allergy together, because i know what a love to pets means...at my parents we used to have also dogs years ago.But these days we all have cats at home...and..mmnn..outside home too ;-)...and YES...I need a good rest...and i hope to sleep well the night tonight.LOVE 2 U,Nira
