While in Thailand, I visited a Red Cross supported research facility where they make anti-venom for a number of Asia's most deadly snake. One of the researchers is holding an extremely venomous Malayan Krait

My daughter and I have four corn snakes... soon to be one with a new addition of special color one, my daughter told me today...lol weird but I find snakes facinating and beautiful... Nice shot, David..:)

woah! A krait! I'm the reptile freak and not even I would touch a venomous creature! Did you know they are often called the seven step snake because once bitten, you suposedly only have seven steps left of life.I read it in one of my books. Ther's also a sea krait isn't there? Working with venom sounds cool, I once saw Jeff Corwin mix some type of viper venom with blood and it turned to jello. ick! What kind of venom do these guys have? The stuff that affects nerves, or neotoxins?
