100x100cm acrylic painting on canvas. There is gold and even red in the sky. But you need to look very well.. And the sky isn't black but is very dark purple blue. And there are lots of green colors in it. And even in all its simplicity I'm working several days, sometimes a week on one single painting. There are so many layers of paint on the canvas...

So very Picturesque Sky and Colorful I love this one.Great Background colors and Nicely painted. Interesting,has so much character, I like this style, So intriguing. This makes for great paintings.. Yes..Simplcity..is not about time...to my opinion...Nelly...there is a BIG Difference between a simple work,that you can do very easily...to a simplicity,which show sometimes a VERY SOPHISTICATED SCENE...Its good you gave us here a description of your work,Nelly...so..we'll manage to look more inside into the shades of colours.I think..perhaps after..you take a shot of the painting..try to play with the contrasts and brightness,in such way,that...ALL Shades can be seen...I know that sometimes in HUGE FORMAT...Its very difficult to see well the work...ANYWAY..This is AWESOME WORK...The colours are stunning...great DRAMA..Just a FANTASTIC SCENE...Patty Day 20 Oct 2006
