Parrot's Eye

This is my second Art Trading Card (ATC or ACEO)!

"Parrot's Eye" is an original work (2.5" x 3.5") in Scratchboard, with Acrylic Paint. The technique involves scratching with an X-acto knife, and painting, numerous layers of each. Very fun, but sometimes time consuming!

This card is SOLD - view other cards for sale at ArtCardsWanted.com - click to view the listing!>

Thanks to everyone who views or comments on this image - I'm having a lot of fun with this ATC/ACEO thing - I strongly recommend it for other artists, if you haven't already tried it! :)

Artist Reply: If you do some research on the site, or visit ArtCardsWanted.com you will understand - these are "Art Trading Cards" - small pieces of art to be bought, sold, collected and traded, much like baseball cards.

Great work again, Christina. You've really captured the feathers and that dry papery skin around the eye itself.
