Lazarus COME FORTH

(C) 2006 Elton Houck This work is representative of the power of the WORD!Jesus, Creator of all spoke the worlds into existence and by the power of his word he called Lazarus to come forth from the house of the dead...He endowed us with an eternal spirit and a free will. Jesus calls us all, and we can chose to listen and answer, or refuse to accept the gift of heaven... The picture you see here was a reverse image scan of a wood construction combining thousands of rubberbands wound tight around the figure and then solidifed into a firm immovable shell with many coats of polyeurthane. --

Wow Elton... from far away I think I can see a man.. when I get it up close I see a universe. It's almost shocking and I can't hardly take my eyes off it. This amazing piece of art stirs my emotions in an exact way that doesn't have words. Intriguingly wonderful! You so inspire me!
