36 x 48 oil on canvas, 2006. (with frame shown) About 8 years ago ... This started off as My 4th oil painting. At that time it was only the dark green background, but I never saw it as finished ... Then, at one point last year it hit me ... it needed A koi fish. Ever since I was a kid I've been facinated by them, and throughout the years they have symbolized many important events in my life.
