O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba

Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969)was the founder of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. I fondly dedicate this watercolor painting to the memory of my father, the late Sensei Jack Leonardo.

This is truly a great portrait of a legend in martial art. O Sensei Ueshiba was a remarkable man as I am certain your father must have been as the philosophy behind this unique martial art is extraordinary. Thank you for sharing this wonderful portrait Kathryn.
