Pat Abbott - the wonderful photographer, allowed me to draw this great bird. It took just over 36 hours but well worth the effort. This painting appears in Ann Kulbergs Coloured Pencil Secrets for Success and Compendium of Drawing Techniques by Donna Krizek. Both great books.
