Panhard Dyna... finally getting there... 4 years on and off ... a very strained love affair, but she's come good in the end. Just a few little extra things to fix and then... :)

Ha ha... Elton comments "Great photo my friend" - but it's not a photo! I bet he'd be shocked if he found out - you should e-mail him. Great work. :) I too like the crop - I think it is more captivating than it would be if it showed the whole car. :)

HERMAN THAT CAR IS BEAUTIFUL! GREAT PHOTO MY FRIEND!!!!

Artist Reply: Photo? Hehehe...that's always been the problem with photorealism! There goes another art movement down the drain ;) ...if you look closely you might notice that the car in the reflection is actually the back end of this one! Very escher-like, that :) When i used to do these on canvas, (and i had a BIG passion for painting reflective chrome), it sort of made sense because they were big, and close up you could see the brush work and the image became abstracted... doing this made me want to paint on canvas again, perhaps more than anything else i've done recently, but i just can't afford the materials right now :(

Awesome work!!!!

I honestly like this cropping so much, I'm not sure if I'd like to see the whole car, as you described. This is just so interesting - you know what the subject is but it's abstracted in a way that you can see/appreciate it in a new way. FANTASTIC work, Herman.
