It's getting to be that time of year and each year I do a painting for cards to be sent to friends and family. This year I decided to do a bird and my cardinal came on to the drawing board. I love to do birds and I guess that is where my art really shines. I was proud that this little bird is featured in the ARTWANTED calendar for 2006. Christmas Cardinal was done on an 8x10 canvas in acrylic.
