Totally cool, love it!!!!

Henk Van de Kaa 07 Nov 2006

Powerfull portrait. I like the white eyes, they look strong and makes me wonder about the feelings of that person. I like the tilted building too, it holds on to the frame and refers to the thoughts of the man, at least that is what I think. I am impressed!!

wow, that is so intence, busy background but such emptiness left in his eyes. i really like it!! awesome job

Nice portrait Jerry... "the lights are on yet nobody home", is a phrase that nowadays seems fitting for so many of our political leaders.

Well said, Chas! I agree wholeheartedly about this piece...it is a masterpiece and is very thought provoking!

Chas Sinklier 06 Feb 2006

You know what I think Jerry - I think Tourist is a masterpiece... We as artist work on many pieces and they are important works of art - and then, every once in awhile, along comes a work where everything comes together - We draw or paint or put together in some way a work that portrays an IDEA! A concept comes to life - Such is the case with Tourist. It is technically wonderful, no doubt. AND, it is a brilliant glimpse into the heart of humanity - A Masterpiece. I'm afraid we as members of society are reluctant to recognize such things and then speak up about it, but that is another story altogether and that needs to change. As for now - Tourist is Great!

Interesting work!!!

David Holcombe 30 Jan 2006

This is a wonderful commentary on modern man in general. It has a ghastly, ghostly quality. The diverse backgrounds add to the sense of displacement. Excellent work, indeed.
