She's beautifully painted! Her skin tones are so wonderfully shadowed and highlighted, her expression shows her comfort with her "pacifier"! WOWzeeee! Patrick, this is a perfect rendering and layout. And the cropping is just incredible to place the focus on "child was laying on the couch with her fingers actually in her mouth" (as you put it) and jsut enough of a hint of the wings to give a depiction of a child's Heavenly innocent.
