I finished this piece in January of 2026 but just took some photos yesterday. I used my custom compound, newsprint, cardboard, Styrofoam and some elbow grease, as my dad used to say. Acrylics were used in the final stage. Toxic Beauty is 22 inches high, 7.75 inches wide and 5 inches deep. It's what Original Jones Art calls Original Jones Art here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I attempted to give the piece a rather androgynous look in the face with those overly puffed lips as an obvious clue, Joanie. But other than that, 'he' is rather desexualized. I thought the expression more expressionless than unhappy. BUT I've lived with it for awhile. Thanks for the nice comment, Joanie. And thanks again for the photo of the sculpture. It was most interesting. :).
