It seems our shadow is always with us, even at night. It just changes intensity and sometimes seems multifoliate due to multiple light sources. Of course, that's my take on it. Yours may vary. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with gray Crayola drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original jones Art is humming 'Me And My Shadow' here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Hey Charley, Yes, I think Shadows never end ! Super

Artist Reply: You may be right, Denny. The never-ending shadow that circles the world. Hope you are doing great where you are. :)

One and perhaps the only companion that never betrays. However it may suddenly and unintentionally give you away. Hope things are under control, Charles. Except the weather:))

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! Well, you know as well as I that 'control' is a tenuous thing and illusory at best. But i'm trying to maintain some sense of normalcy in a world increasingly abnormal. :)

With the exception of the cloud, he kind of seems like he's on the lunar surface . Then he would have a moon shadow supposedly : ) Nice one Charles. Heard there is a heat dome affecting the Northwest plain states this week. Hope it's not as bad as they say.

Artist Reply: Yeah, it just wouldn't be the same without that cloud, Dave. We are having lots of clouds today which is keeping the heat at bay---for the moment. :)
