I found this image on that old hard drive I recently rediscovered. It must be around 8 by 10 inches given the size of the file. It's from 2015 and I haven't dug into that year's notebooks for some few years. Yes, it happens. It looks to be gel pen and color pencil on textured paper. Yes, Original Jones Art isn't above a little guesswork here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: It looks like it could have been creme-colored, Dave. It's been over a decade ago so I'd have to actually look at the real McCoy to see if that would jog the old memory. Yes, we're in the 90's and UV index is high---so 'feels' like 100. Or so those pesky meteorologists say. You know, it seems those folks ought to study meteors with a 'title' like that. :)
