We are lucky if we lose some memories but we need most of them to define who we are at any given moment. At my age, I guess I'm lucky I can still dig in and pull out the one I want. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen and color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art remembers a time when the memories had more flavor here in northwest Austin, Texas.

There's always another me or even two hiding until the right moment comes!

Artist Reply: Well, I've noticed mine jumping ship of late, Nikolay. Maybe they know something I've been ignoring? Hope you are doing well in your part of this less than stable planet. :)

Cool one Charles , like this very much Not only the voice inside one's head, but a face as well : )

Artist Reply: I did this one late 2025 but buried it in a pile until today. I thought it might be worth an upload, Dave. Our identity is strongly connected to our collective memories. If they begin to go, the face we wore when we made them leaks out, so to speak. I thought I'd better do this BEFORE dementia sets in. :)
