I drew the drawing yesterday and added the speech bubbles today. This is a 14 by 11 inches gel pen drawing on that infamous scribble pad I've used previously. If this isn't Original Jones Art, it could be Aboriginal Jones Art dug up in northwest Austin, Texas. Anything is possible in this best of all possible worlds.

Artist Reply: Good of you to comment, Stan! I used to publish the occasional verse in the long ago. But these speech bubbles contain only brief overviews of maybe real, maybe hypothetical poems. It's not the falling down, they say, it's the getting up that's rough. And getting up isn't what it used to be. So be careful and stay safe. :)

Cool! You poetry and graphics remind me of the wisdom saying that with a spyglass you can look at the sun twice, while with binoculars only once. Must be a totally productive week ahead of you, Charles!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! I seem to be coming up with words more than graphics lately. BUT I'd never call these poems, more like the character is telling the viewer there could exist such poems. But probably not by me. :) Hope you are doing well.

Artist Reply: I seem to be drawing a recurring character of late. Well, if not the same, rather similar, John. So after drawing this one yesterday, I thought I'd try putting words in his mouth. As in the old days, the words came easily. As I drew the bubbles before making up/writing the words, I had to be careful to give just enough meaning to each of them. Artist Reply: These are, at best, brief blurbs for poems that, most probably, haven't been written, Dave. They may live in that same gray area as the story synopsis about a man who constantly heard a fly buzzing nearby but could never see it. That gray area could be my brain and/or mind. Hope you have the snow shovel close at hand. :)
