Okay, I hit sort of a snag when trying to attach the base to this one. Even trying to keep it light-weight, the little wooden dowel proved problematic. SO I decided to put 'Comb-Over' on a small display easel and give you a look-see. I used my custom compound and a bit of corrugated. It is 10.5 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide from tip of the eyebrows, and a bit over .25 inches thick or deep. I colored with acrylics, as I usually do. I have another one larger than this that I'm thinking of just hanging on the wall. Anyway, it's more of the Original Jones Art that folks are rushing out just to ignore in northwest Austin, Texas.

Hey Charley, Colorful, A Good Combed Job !

Artist Reply: Thanks, Denny! Loved the battling beetles. I'm thinking of making a series of these. The sun is assisting me nicely at the moment. And the 'comb' is like from a chicken---which I thought you might appreciate. Hope all is going great. Your work is flowing and that's a good litmus test. :)

Wonderful Charles ! The stand works well as part of the piece too . Love the bright bold colors . A cheerful 5 stars : )

Artist Reply: Well, the stand is sort of a stand-in, Dave. That vise is taking its sweet time getting to my front door. Of course, I've still to go out in the garage and scrounge around for the drill. :)
