I had this loose sketch lying about and decided to try bringing it into the 3D world. I used my usual custom compound with Styrofoam, cardboard, newsprint, plastic and button batteries. I added color with acrylic paints. I almost gave the top another 'flaming limb' but just wasn't happy with the look. Last night I awoke remembering a tree ornament given to me by friends a couple of Christmases ago. At it happens, it fit very nicely in the orifice designed for the eleventh flaming limb. I do not have it lit as I figured it wouldn't look very illuminated outside. It stands 28.25 inches tall and the base is 6 inches in circumference.. This is another Original Jones Art piece that, to be truthful, doesn't add a lot of illumination in an increasingly darkening world---in northwest Austin, Texas and elsewhere.

Wonder how fast these burning peppery pods grow and how often it should be watered. Most creative stuff, Charles!

Artist Reply: This last winter we had a relatively hard freeze which finished off my already diminishing bush in the front yard. It was here when I bought the house, gave me white blooms a couple of times a year and was once rather large. This could be, in some subliminal way, my way of having a bush that won't die on me, Nikolay. Hope you and yours are doing great. :)

Cool Charles

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray. I just won't let any small kids run around in the house unless it's up high someplace out of their reach. BUT small kids in the house hasn't been an issue for some little time. Hope all is going great. :)

Hey Charley, Those flaming Limbs could be Dangerous, Super

Artist Reply: You are correct, Denny. I almost poked myself in the eye several times during its production. Thanks and i hope all is going great in Denny's world. :)

Really super ...has a cool sinister look to it ... the title works . 5 stars Charles : )

Artist Reply: Well, I think I can safely say it is one-of-a-kind, Dave. The name came to me in process and then I thought of Bentley Brown, an old friend who had passed about a month back. And then I thought of Baby Boomers---so I guess all the double B's make sense in a way. i don't think there is too much Biblical in its origin story. Hope all is going great up there. :)
