I painted this a couple of weeks ago and had some trouble getting a decent photo of it. It is a 10 by 10 inches acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. It was painted while holding the canvas in my lap. I'm actually surprised it came out as well as it did under the circumstances. Life is a quest, a journey in search of a dream. If it's just a quest for money, then it's a trip wasted, I think. Original Jones Art is still brave enough to say what he means and mean what he says in northwest Austin, Texas.

dramatic. really like it

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! I'm trying to imagine a character who has become invisible to others yet still strong and vibrant unto himself. If I could paint that well, then maybe my quest would be over. Uh, I did say 'might.' Hope you are doing great. :)

Very cool this one ! Like the colors and effect of paint also the background ... kind of dreamy result : )

Artist Reply: It's the first painting since the accident, Dave. I wanted to convince myself I could put 'something' down with paint that wasn't just mish-mash. BUT painting in my lap wasn't an easy thing to do so I'm going to need room for my easel. My current set-up with my pencils, TV, etc., will need some changes. Thanks for the comment, Dave. Much appreciated..
