Mr. Layabout doesn't have many visitors so it's usually a red-letter day when he does. But this visitor looks strangely familiar. Maybe the best, most reliable visitor is one's self. Though Mr. Layabout wishes it were otherwise. This is a 6 by 9 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art, learning to throw his voice in northwest Austin, Texas.

Hope the visit was as interesting as this piece is : ) Mr layabout seems to becoming unglued a bit ... at least in a creative way. Hope things are going well Charles : )

Artist Reply: I think Mr. Layabout is becoming a bit disjointed, Dave. Folks don't seem to realize that the promise of a visit unrealized is worse than no visit at all. Seems Mr. Layabout is learning the painful lesson regarding empty words. You'd think he'd know better by now. Thanks, Dave. :)

Artist Reply: Better that than stinkeye, I'm told. Though I've had the pink version and it's no fun either. Hope it starts looking and feeling better asap, Ray. :)
