I mailed off a card to an old friend today and sent a little color drawing with it to symbolize all the joy and optimism I could muster. Obviously, my joy tank was limping on empty. This is a 6 by 3.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art, always ready to spread the joy, in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I hope Neil thinks it is. If he knew how low I was feeling that day, he'd probably be more appreciative. Hope all is good with Dave. Weather hasn't cooled or dredged us in quite some time. Oh well. :)
