I used a thin felt-tip pen to lay down the initial image and then added color with the color pencils. For whatever reason there's more of a reddish feel to this piece due to the scanner misreading some hues. It isn't awful. It's just not accurate or completely truthful. I guess that's sort of like everyday life. This is an 8.5 by 8.5 inches piece on medium bond paper. So what is Original Jones Art going to say about it? It's just fine, especially if you're colorblind. Maybe it's a joke and maybe no one's here in northwest Austin, Texas. It depends on what side of the cheek your tongue is in, I suppose.

Another gem Charles

Artist Reply: It's something to do while streaming old movies. And I do mean 'old.' Hope you are doing great. :)

Those eyes woke me up this morning! :) Great work, as always.

Artist Reply: I've always had a thing for eyes, Ginger, and they figure prominently in my figurative work, for sure. And they do not need to be realistically rendered to have an emotive impact. Thanks! :)
