These photos are some of the origami art by Andrew Wang at the Riverdale Art Hub which is a non-profit providing services to immigrant women in the East end of Toronto. The Art work is fantastic, original and unique and 40 percent of the profits will go towards services for immigrant women. There is also an artist at this exhibit who creates art with mini rubics cubes. The art above by Andrew Wang is about the migration of his family to Canada and the sacrifices they made as well as the journey to being successful in their new city and country. The particular photos above depict Andrew's heroes who are Chinese and Andrew explained how these heroes from his culture help him and others see what is possible in terms of being successful in the lives.
