Marching in place. If you've been in a marching band, you know what that means. Your legs are moving up and down but you aren't going anywhere. But that's okay. You look around and see others doing the same thing. And some of them are smiling. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's Original Jones Art's way of marching in place in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Believe it or not, I was talking with my old band director from HS other day. He's about 10 years old than I and, of course, much retired. But I guess this guy sort of harkens back to when I wore a traditional marching band uniform and marched/counter-marched around the field. Ya never know, Dave. :)
