A person needs a good sense of humor and an appreciation of irony to make it through life with sanity and decency intact. But I'm afraid those are two diminishing commodities in the world we find ourselves in now. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium weight acid-free paper. Yeah, it's Original Jones Art who finds himself chuckling and shaking his head a lot in northwest Austin, Texas.

So true my friend. We need to laugh more, sometimes at ourselves. Don't sweat the small stuff as they say. The world today is unfortunately wound tight and it seems as if everyone has to walk around on eggshells. Another powerful piece that just hits me straight to heart. Excellent work!

Artist Reply: I hear you, Rick. Trouble is folks focus on the 'small stuff' so much they think it's big. It's like looking through the wrong end of a telescope and thinking that's reality; it is and it isn't. Thanks for the nice comment. :)

I agree with kath ,the way I would have present sense of humor I would have s cartoon character rounding on the laughing his guts out .

Artist Reply: Well, we are all different, Ray, with different ways of doing things. I thought you may have gathered by now that I am not trying to impress any particular demographic, social or political group, or even other artists. You can always show me what your take on this subject would look like; this is the perfect platform for that. I'd be happy to see it. :)

Artist Reply: Hope all is going great down under, Kath. Yes, I like to pull out these images on a pretty regular basis lately. I haven't had drawer's block in some time, I'm happy to say. Thanks for your nice comment. :)
