The beautiful Turkish coast simply requires exploration by boat. It is therefore also possible to charter a motor or sailing yacht for two or more people. These ornate Turkish wooden yachts, finished in typical Eastern style, lie side by side in the numerous marinas. Together with the skipper, you map out your itinerary, and while enjoying the scenery or a dip in the clear water in a deserted bay, a cook will prepare a delicious meal. Along the Turkish coast you can still see the yards where these boats are built in the traditional way, often it is a small family business where real craftsmanship is still provided. Now, contrary to what is the case elsewhere, these boats seem to be relatively inexpensive to purchase but, as I was told on the spot, it is almost impossible to export the vessel from Turkey and register it in another country , you never touch the necessary documents.
