The Photographer

Life size portrait of my friend in his studio in NYC. The Kodak-boarders are part of the painting. It took me so long to paint this, I almost quited before it was achieved, it was my last photo-realist painting, but I am still proud I did it and specially proud I finished it. I saw it a few years ago, and I was pleased to see that it aged well without too many cracks (a few in the blacks, as usual, always be carefull of the blacks you use in oils).

Incredible details and very photo realistic! I'm sure your friend is very proud of this piece. I certainly would be! You are a very talented artist and I look forward to more of your accomplishments.

hello ZOMRAK. be that as it may... your work continues to amaze. wishful thinking would be to say a view of the actual work of art would be quite stimulating.
