Life size portrait of my friend in his studio in NYC. The Kodak-boarders are part of the painting. It took me so long to paint this, I almost quited before it was achieved, it was my last photo-realist painting, but I am still proud I did it and specially proud I finished it. I saw it a few years ago, and I was pleased to see that it aged well without too many cracks (a few in the blacks, as usual, always be carefull of the blacks you use in oils).

Incredible details and very photo realistic! I'm sure your friend is very proud of this piece. I certainly would be! You are a very talented artist and I look forward to more of your accomplishments.Arlene Ehleben 26 Oct 2006

Pretty fantastic oil! It was cool when they had to cloak themselves. fine work. Love the jeans n tennis and the strong arm with the time piece on it, plus the untied shoe, he must have been busy trying to catch something interesting. I know the untied shoe syndrome!Chester Elmore 05 Jan 2005
