Tipoo in Normandy

I had a cardboard canvas with a charcoal drawing of my dear cat Tipoo who was killed in Normandy by a young mad driver in 2003, this summer I was back in Normandy, I was hoping I would find the courage to paint this charcoal sketch, for Tipoo, then on a very hot day (42 degrees), I went in front of the little house, 5 meters away from Tipoo's grave and finally did it, with felt tips, not the courage to get the big "artillery" (oils) out.

Wow! I never thought I would come across such named cat. My cat's name was Tiplee but nicknamed Tipoo. (Tiplee because it had a tip pattern near the nose.) If I had known earlier that she was born on 14th Feb. her name would have been Vali.("dear" in my own lingo) She died of lung cancer on 9/11 and she was not known to smoke! Once friends arrived with two sons. I was caling out "Tipoo" nad the second son kept on responding. We then were told that it was his nickname ,too. Why did you name the cat "Tipoo"? - kishore [email protected]

Beautiful colors and such a cheery composition and details. I would bet Tipoo loves where you've placed him for eternity. This is very detailed for colored markers.
