Wayward is defined as being difficult to control or predict because of unusual or perverse behavior. Synonyms include willful, headstrong, stubborn, contrary, defiant, rebellious, etc. Interesting that its most accurate antonym appears to be docile. I think most of us would rather be regarded as almost anything other than 'docile.' ;) This is a 16 by 12 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and another 2015 example of Original Jones Art.

Excellent art work and masterful explanation of this abstract piece. Reminds me of Dali style, Charles! Kudos!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Mark! I'm not sure how Salvador would have reacted to this piece. I would hope he'd approve, of course. He was much more painterly than I but thanks for the comparison. Hope you are doing great and Happy New Year! :)
