An aviary is an interesting world. This was taken in a cancer clinic and it had a very peaceful effect on all the patients and visitors.

This is a very great idea. The same with aquariums. Reminding to the patients that Mother Nature is beautiful is a great help. In my neighborhood in France, we also can attend watercolor course while receiving treatments against cancer. This is a good way to concentrate one's mind on something else than illness. Very nice photo and I can understand how something like this can have a calming effect on the patients. It is so good to see the clinic goes out of its way to put thier patients at ease. I am more aware of this as my younger sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer and under going intensive treatment up in NJ.
