Leaping Dog

Oil painting of tourist attraction in Wisconsin Dells. Done from photo I took several years ago. There was a net under between the rocks, which I omitted in the painting.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Elizabeth. It was a fun painting to tackle, and a great memory. When we were there, I was holding my breath till the dog was on solid ground again.

Quite an undertaking, for you and the dog! Glad to hear about the net too!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Brenda. It was both challenging and fun to paint. Getting the shading right on those rocks was interesting. I was very happy to run across that old photo and use it for a painting. We took that trip to Ws. Dells at least 9 years ago.
