Well, it IS a bit of fancy on my part, but the bird is supposed to be a relative of the extinct variety, correct? :) As I'm shaking up my media again, I used a gel pen to lay down the initial drawing, then watercolor and then more color gel pen. Image area 6 by 8.5 inches. Original Jones Art four footing it around in Austin, Texas.
