Christmas Trees

I again painted the stretched canvas with black acrylic paint and applied white, gold and glitter paint on top. I then added gems to the trees. I hope you enjoy!

You have such a FABULOUS imagination, and what seems like boundless, endless inspiration (can we rub elbows and see if some of that inspiration rubs off on me? I know I NEED to create.... but cannot seem to get myself to).

I like this one for a lot of reasons, one it is seasonal, there is a spiritual look to the items in the sky, needless to say the beautiful trees and I love the idea of the black back ground for underpainting as it brings out the colors so well. I use Black gesso as a base coat on a lot of my landscapes as the colors just jump out so well.
