gone too soon

I posted this shot of my kitten Spook in October when we first got him at 7 weeks old,I am re-posting it as I lost him today to a car accident,he escaped from my house when I was distracted with hands full of packages and could not find where he went,I had to go to work soon after and when I got home,I found him on the side of the road,I loved him so and don't think I will ever get over this,I am posting just to say I won't be commenting for a little while as I am heart broken over his passing after just a few short months on this earth.

I'm so sorry for the loss of a special friend....... I felt the same when I had to put down my dog of 16 years. yes i know the situations are not the same ..........but the pain of the passing is. it boils down to a very ture love taken from you. the pain IS the same.

Absolutely beautiful Spook's gorgeously rendered, his personality shines through this. This is a very difficult to get over, The Same happened a kitty I saved, his name was Elmo. Very awesome work. You captured our hearts impressively,Just adorable,the highlights on the head fur are so well done, The colors and the setting is perfect.

You have my sympothy as well Ruth. Over the years I to have lost many pets and you will find that those you truly loved will remain in your heart for many years to come and no matter what you do you can never replace that love although it is possible to find another pet that you can love as much.

oh god! Loosing a cute little angel like Spook has got to be a real loose. Think about him often and send his little spirit a breath of love. I do this for my lost ones in the hopes of seeing them all again when I pass.
